Greetings, kindred spirits!

I am Alva the Seer, a generational Norse pagan, völva, and eclectic polytheist. My practice is rooted in Nordic ancestral folk magic passed down through generations, dating back to the Viking Age. I was raised within a spiritual family lineage and guided from an early age by my mother and grandparents.

I work closely with spirits and the spirit world, including ancestral spirits and other non-corporeal beings. My practice centers on spirit communication, liminal work, and otherworldly workings. I am Swedish with Norwegian heritage and live in Uppsala, the city regarded by the Vikings as the most spiritually significant site in all of the Nordic lands. This allows me access to sacred grounds, ancient runestones, and burial sites of Viking royalty, where I am able to perform certain workings.

I worship the Moon in a deeply animistic way and work closely with lunar cycles in my rituals and spellwork. I refer to the Moon as Selene rather than Máni, as I experience lunar energy as feminine rather than masculine. My lunar practice is rooted in cycles, intuition, and embodied experience rather than strict pantheon boundaries. I view Lucifer, the Light-Bringer, as a deity, spirit, or energetic force predating abrahamitic religions. In my practice, Lucifer represents knowledge, liberation, and illumination rather than corruption. I experience Lucifer and Prometheus as the same underlying archetypal current. I am also a devotee of Lilith and Freja. Lilith came to me when I was sound asleep and dreaming, three nights in a row. I had vivid dreams and would wake up to see different omens in the form of different animals on my walls and I would turn the lights on and they were gone. This would repeat every night until I did divination and confirmed it was Lilith reaching out. We're still deepening our bond, but I already feel very taken care of and loved in her presence. Freja and I, are still getting to know each other too, so far we've bonded over our love for cats and flowers.

My path is constantly evolving, both spiritually and in life, and this page will be updated as my work deepens. I believe strongly in fully customized spiritual workings; every ritual and spell I offer is uniquely tailored to the individual and their situation.
